Shekinah Christian Church is called to be an Apostolic/Prophetic Center with a Regional, National and International impact.
THE SIX THINGS WE AIM TO DO AS A CHURCH ARE:
- To honor, esteem and welcome the Presence of the Lord. (Rev 5:12‑13)
- To esteem the Word of God and prayer. (Ps. 119:11, 105, Is. 56:7)
- To overcome powers and principalities in the territory. (Gen 1:28)
- To usher in the prophetic presence of Jesus to release the harvest. (Acts 1:8, Eph 3:9‑11, I Jn 3:8, 1 Cor 14:1)
- To restore people in spirit, soul and body so they can be mobilized into their destiny. (1Thes 5:23)
- To equip and activate believers to do the Work of the Ministry (Eph.4:11-16) by:
- (a) Assisting people identify their calling, gifts, and destiny;
- (b) Mobilizing them in the arena to which they are called;
- (c) Assisting them develop the character and integrity essential to carry out and complete their ministry;
- (d) Winning the lost and making disciples through evangelism and church planting and;
- (e) Visiting and attending to those who are adversely challenged in their life circumstances—those without parents, the fatherless and widows.
