"In the year 2000, I had an encounter with God during which I was overtaken with a heart for Israel. I literally wept over Israel as if it were a child that was my very own. Before that time, I was aware that Psalms 122:6-9 instructed us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Praying Psalms 122 was a rote thing for me, not a heart initiated prayer. However that encounter changed my attitude toward Israel forever. Since then I've had an intense desire to introduce other Christians to the land and the people. Why?
